About CVEEC

The environmental education curriculum of the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center’s (CVEEC) 4-day, 3-night program, All the Rivers Run, is taught to students in grades 4-6 with a focus on exploration of the watershed. The upper level curriculum, designed for 7th and 8th graders, focuses on human impact on the watershed and exploration of low impact development tools to lessen that impact.

Time is spent mostly outdoors discovering the diversity of plant and animal life in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, learning about sustainable living, and exploring the intricacies of the Cuyahoga River Watershed. Hiking, singing, creating, sharing and learning are all a part of this hands-on, high energy experience.
